1:1 Canvassing

In addition to our year-long schedule of Canvass Events, WNC Votes is offering volunteers special support for 1:1 Individual Canvassing – a chance to get out in your own neighborhood and talk with voters, many of whom you might already know!

With 1:1 Canvassing, you get the same training, materials and support that our regular canvassers get at each group canvass event. The only difference is that you can visit folks in your area on your own time, and take up to up to three weeks to work through your list.

Talking with people you know or who might be familiar is much easier than talking with strangers. And introducing yourself as a neighbor establishes a connection up front, even for neighbors you haven’t actually met before.

We’re making the 1:1 Canvassing available to individuals as well as to selected groups that want to schedule training for their members. Sign up and give it a try!
