Postcarding Event

Join the Interfaith Action Network (IAN), UU the Vote, and WNC Votes! for our last voter outreach postcard writing event! We’ll be writing postcards to registered Black voters who have historically been harmed by injustice and underrepresented across North Carolina, as part of the Center for Common Ground’s Reclaim Our Vote initiative.

The event will be held at a convenient location in downtown Asheville, with free parking. For security reasons, we will provide the exact location after you register, shortly before the event date.

We will provide names, addresses, postcards, postage and supplies, as well as sample text for writing to voters. You are under no obligation to contribute, but if you would like to bring some postcard stamps or make a small donation on the 11th to help with the cost of postage, we would appreciate it. But everyone is welcome: If you can help write postcards, please come!
